Will Entrekin is a 20-year-old college student at the University of Georgia. He is getting his degree in mass media arts and music business. He began his interest in music when the high school drama director asked him to audition for the class, Theater Production, making him the first freshman to ever join. He was very successful in theater and was rewarded many honors, but he was still asking the question, “What am I supposed to do with my life?” After hearing a sermon from Jeff Henderson explaining “God’s thumb prints on you are clues of His plans for you,” he realized that he could use the gifts he was given to honor God and discover his purpose in God’s plan.
Through the next few years he discovered all the ways he could honor God through acting, dancing, leading worship, and even writing music. His true passion is leading worship, yet he is more than willing to do whatever God calls him to. Will is an amazing role model for kids and allows them to be an incentive to set a good example. He says, “I don’t want to profess one thing on stage or in front of a camera and then live out something else.” He knows that kids look up to him, and he doesn’t take the role of being a leader lightly. His goal is to teach kids “that God has a magnificent purpose for your life and you are never too young to start discovering what that is and pursue it.”
Will has danced in 20 to 30 Amber Sky Records videos, acted in many videos such as Studio 252 episodes, Zapped curriculum in a box, and promotional videos. He sings and acts at Camp KidJam, and has even begun writing some music for Amber Sky Records as well.
Will is a great addition to our team, and we’re lucky to have someone that brings so much energy and passion to the products we create.
