What if you knew exactly what you would be teaching in your children’s ministry and when you would be teaching it?

You could . . .

  • Plan further in advance with a strategy in mind.
  • Stop wondering what you’ll teach next week.
  • Shop themed decorations ahead of time.

With Orange Kids Curriculum, you get detailed insight on this coming year of ministry from August to July. We plan our year with the scope and rhythms of a family’s life from the start of school through the fun of summer! Orange Kids Curriculum includes preschool, elementary, and preteen.

First Look is the preschool curriculum, and 252 Kids is the Elementary and Preteen curriculum. These two groups work a bit differently in their scope and cycle. To start, First Look works on a 2-year Scope and Cycle, and 252 Kids switches things up every three years. However, both offer the same great information in Focused Yearly Scopes to help you plan for the year ahead.

These insights are based on what Jesus says in the Greatest Commandment of Love God (Wonder), Love Others (Discovery), and Love Life (Passion).

This page is designed to help you cast vision to parents and leaders about the content your kids will cover over the 22/23 school year. It focuses on how and the what we’re studying throughout the year connects to the Bible and God’s plan for our lives. This document includes photos of kids instead of theme illustrations to remind us of who we’re hoping to serve this coming year. We want a kid’s relationship with Jesus at the forefront of what we create in Orange Curriculum.

A list of Bible stories that will be covered throughout the entire three-year cycle can be found here. The majority of the lessons here are covered in the weekly curriculum, but a few are covered through memory verses and devotionals. At Orange, we deeply value a relevant and engaging curriculum for our kids. To create top-quality material that will help kids hear and remember the message, our goal is never to “re-invent the wheel.” Rather, our goal is to tweak, improve, and adjust curriculum as needed in the scope and cycle to stay true to our values. Hopefully, this fresh curriculum helps your kids come to know, love, and apply the message of the Gospel in their own lives.
