Does this sound familiar?

You’re hanging up the new 2014 wall calendar at the office. You glance down the sheet and suddenly realize summer is just around the corner. Your blood pressure rises. Your palms start sweating. You run to the computer and spend a few hours scouring the Internet for something, anything that will work. You wonder to yourself does it really have to be this difficult?

We don’t think so.

We’ve created a complete Summer XP (VBS) for your children’s ministry (preschool and elementary). Inside this curriculum-in-a-box, you’ll find everything you need to have a great summer learning about wisdom, faith and friendship. And this summer we want your kids to start living inside out!

Jesus said, “Everyone who hears my words and puts them into practice is like a wise man.” Jesus told many amazing stories and there’s so much we can learn from them.

Orange’s Living Inside Out takes a look at the parables that Jesus told and how we can take the principles from those stories and put them into practice in our everyday lives. Here is a list of the stories that we’ll be talking about:

Day 1: Sand vs. Rock (Matthew 7:24-27)
Day 2: The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37)
Day 3: Bigger Barns (Luke 12:13-21)
Day 4: Don’t Worry (Matthew 6:25-34)
Day 5: The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-31)

Orange’s Living Inside Out Summer XP (VBS) is a five-day, customizable event for preschool and elementary that includes the option of using videos (DVD and QuickTime) or performing the Storyteller segments live. The elementary portion has an additional musical element perfect for that audience. The product highlights the five stories above as well as a sixth session (The Light, Matthew 5:13-16) that you can use as a Family Experience to wrap up your week of VBS. It also has ideas for crafts, snacks, games, service projects and activities for your kids to build their faith skills.

For our giving project this year, we have partnered with Samaritan’s Purse with their Eternal Love Winning Africa hospital campaign. Kids and families will have an opportunity to raise money to help build and refurbish a hospital in Liberia.

Orange’s Living Inside Out is distinctly Orange. We believe that one of the keys to reaching this generation is partnering with parents so we’ve created several resources to help make it easier. Included in the Orange’s Living Inside Out box are Parent CUE Cards, to help further discussion when the kids get home. A summer event is a great opportunity to spend time with parents so we’ve included podcasts and discussion guides filled with helpful parenting ideas and pre-packaged social media tools to engage the parents throughout the week.

Are you ready to help your families start living inside out? Think Orange this summer and head to to find out more.
