Do you have a big head? What? Too personal a question? Well, in June Week 5, the twos will be talking all about their big heads. Let’s show you what we’re talking about.
Notice that I only had white cardstock and green yarn. You’re going to want to have like a cream or tan cardstock if possible and definitely not green yarn. Unless you want to make crazy hair, then green yarn works fine. I also just grabbed some crayons instead of digging for markers. Use whatever you have available. It’s all very flexible.
Help the kids glue on the eyes and the hair and then let them draw the facial features. Notice I used actual glue for this one. It will work better than a glue stick. Using actual glue means you need to be monitoring its using closely. Otherwise, you will end up with a big, soppy mess.
Don’t forget to put the sticker on the back when you tape the popsicle stick there. You’re going to want the big popsicle sticks if you have them. I didn’t have any. Also, I didn’t print the stickers because I was only making one. If you’re only making a few, it may be easier and cheaper for you to just write on the back of the craft.
Have fun making your big heads!!
