In June Week Two, the two year olds are going to have some fun lighting up the sky. We wanted to show you how we pictured this activity. You may picture it differently. Feel free to do it your way if you like it better!
Gather all your supplies. Now, notice that I didn’t have any silver paint. So, I used silver glitter glue. It worked great. And, I didn’t have an star stickers. So, I used some foam stars I had sitting in the craft closet. No sense going to buy new supplies if you’ve got some in the closet that will work just as well!
Place the yellow activity page printed on yellow cardstock on top of some black construction paper and cut them out at the same time. You may want to do this before the kiddos arrive. Then, have them glue the two pieces together.
Next, help them stick down the stars and paint the moon.
That’s it! You’re done.
Of course, you’re going to want to put their name on it somewhere.
And, put it somewhere safe to dry. You don’t want little fingers getting in that wet paint while you’re not looking!
Have fun lighting up the sky!
